Arjo's Sara Stedy Compact Patient Transfer Aid is designed to assist caregivers and patients during transfers. Two curved panels make up the seat and each panel folds out of the way for simplistic patient entry/exit; these panels also facilitate personal hygiene needs. Once the patient is comfortably in place on the Sara Stedy Compact, the seat panels return to their original position. An assistive crossbar handle provides patients with a support to lift themselves up or lower themselves down; it also increases their independent mobility. The standing platform is textured to supply optimal traction, effectively mitigating potential slips and falls. The low-clearance chassis is width-adjustable via convenient foot pedals to accommodate low-sitting beds, wide furniture, and wheelchairs. Curved handles and foot-operated wheel locks ensure effortless portability and storage.
